New Cardiology Outreach Services Service Available at Madison Family Medicine
Cardiovascular Associates of Charlottesville is now offering general cardiology services at the offices of Madison Family Medicine on Highway 29 North in Madison, Virginia.
Dr. Joshua Fischer, M.D., an Interventional Cardiologist and partner with Cardiovascular Associates, provides the general cardiology appointments. Prospective patients or referring physicians should please contact Cardiovascular Associates to schedule a consultation or referral.
2010 Start! Charlottesville Heart Walk
Cardiovascular Associate is a proud sponsor of the 2010 Start! Charlottesville Heart Walk - the American Heart Association's mission in action. This annual celebration promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family-friendly environment.
More than 5,000 walkers are anticipated to participate in the 3-mile walk around Monticello High School. As the signature fundraising event, the Start! Charlottesville Heart Walk is expected to raise $300,000 for the American Heart Association's life-saving mission -- "Building healthier lives, free of cardio-vascular diseases and stroke."

It's been three years since Cardiovascular Associates of Charlottesville was established in February 2007! From our initial group of five physicians and less than 15 staff, we've grown to a practice of nine board certified cardiologists and 25 staff members. We're proud to serve patients throughout Central Virginia and to offer a wide range of advanced cardiovascular care to the community including: Outpatient consultative services, General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, and in-office Echocardiography and Nuclear Imaging.

Our New Patient Appointment Reminder System!
We are always looking to improve service for our patients. To that end, we have implemented a telephone appointment reminder system called, "HouseCalls." The new service will provide you with the courtesy of a timely, efficient reminder about your next scheduled appointment.
HouseCalls will call you a few days before your next appointment to give you the day, date, and time of your appointment. You will be able to either confirm or cancel your appointment by using your telephone keypad and pressing the following keys anytime during the message.
